I don't know if I subscribe to more media newsletters or it's just the difference a year makes with YouTube -- but this year's Super Bowl ads seems to garner more pre-event attention than ever before. We didn't just talk about them this year -- you could actually see part or all of the ad in advance.

The winners? Budweiser and Bud Light did well. My favorites were the stray dog and the face-slapping ad in the beer category. My overall favorite -- the Doritos commercial, created by a so-called novice. It was terrific!
